Privacy policy

At Mamba Propiedades we take care of the data you trust us with. This policy explains what personal data this site collects, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights, under Uruguayan Law No. 18,331 on Personal Data Protection and its regulatory decree 414/009.

What data we collect
- Contact, property enquiry, visit request and "looking for a property" forms: name, email, phone, message and, where relevant, the property or type of property you are looking for.
- Customer account: name, email and password (stored encrypted). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google account.
- Favourites and saved searches linked to your account, and the email alerts for those searches.
- Newsletter: your email.
- Site usage: pages visited and clicks on contact buttons (for example, WhatsApp), in aggregate. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics is also used.
What we use it for
- To answer your enquiries and arrange visits.
- To look for properties that match your request and let you know when they come up.
- To send you the newsletter if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link at the bottom of every email.
- To improve the site with usage statistics.
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Legal basis
We process your data with your consent, given when you send a form, create an account or subscribe, and to handle the request you made. Analytics cookies are only enabled if you accept them in the site notice.
Who we share it with
Only with providers that render services to us and only for those purposes: site and database hosting, Google (analytics, if you accepted it, and Google sign-in) and Brevo (email delivery). Some of these providers may store data outside Uruguay, with adequate protection safeguards.
How long we keep it
For as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or while you have an active account or subscription. It is then deleted or anonymised, unless a regulation requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, update, inclusion or deletion of your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to contacto@mambapropiedades.uy. We reply within the legal deadlines (5 business days for access requests).
If you believe we did not handle your request, you can file a complaint with Uruguay's Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit (URCDP).
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), encrypted passwords and access restricted to the staff who need it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
